Sometimes it seems very difficult to perform Time Waveform Analysis or relate the events displayed in it to a certain fault or source.
💡 Simply, here is how you can do this ...
By getting (calculating) the difference in time between two impacts (events) gives "the period".
The inverse of the period is "frequency" ( P = 1 / F ), then you can check if this frequency is matching with any peak in the spectrum.
Then you can simply perform spectrum analysis checking the source of such frequency and if it is related to any suspected fault / component in your machine.
