Using Orbit Institute courses

Access. Every course gives you ninety days of access from the moment you enrol, on any device. One free extension is granted on request — email us before or after your access closes.

Your account is yours. Course access is for one person. Sharing a login, redistributing videos or reposting course material is not permitted; it is the one thing that gets an account closed.

Assessment. Quizzes carry unlimited attempts with no penalty. The final exam is marked on our server; the pass mark is 70%.

Certificates. An Orbit Institute certificate confirms you completed the course and passed our exam. It carries a number and a public verification link. We can revoke a certificate if it was obtained dishonestly — the verification page always shows the current status.

International exams. ICML, SMRP, Infraspection and WPiAM certifications are awarded by those bodies, not by us. Our courses prepare you for them; the exam is booked and paid separately, at their current fee.

Changes. Course content is updated as standards and practice change. If a course you own is updated, you keep access to the updated version for the rest of your ninety days.

Refunds

If the course is not for you

Fourteen days, unstarted. A course is fully refundable within fourteen days of purchase as long as you have not started it — no lesson watched, no quiz taken.

Started courses. Once you have opened a lesson the purchase is not refundable, because the material is delivered in full at that point. If something is wrong with the course itself, tell us — we would rather fix it than keep the money.

Printed slides. The $35 printed notes are refundable until they are posted. After posting, they follow normal consumer law for physical goods.

How to ask. Email info@orbitinstitute.com with your invoice number. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within five working days.

Exam fees. Fees paid to ICML, SMRP, Infraspection or WPiAM are theirs, not ours, and follow their refund rules.

Privacy

What we hold, and what we do not

What we hold. Your name, email, country, optional company name for invoicing, your course progress and your quiz results. Your name as entered is the name printed on your certificate.

Payments. We do not collect card details on this site. Enrolment is paid by bank transfer and we hold the invoice record only.

Course files and certificates. Videos and certificate files are stored privately and served only to the person enrolled. There is no public folder anyone can browse.

Verification pages. A certificate's verification page shows the holder's name, the course, the issue date and the status. That is the point of it — but you decide who you give the link to, and being listed on the graduates page is opt-in.

Email. Course reminders, expiry warnings and receipts are sent because you enrolled. Marketing email is off unless you switch it on in settings.

Deletion. Ask and your account and progress are deleted. Issued certificates stay verifiable — that record belongs to the employers who check it.

Something unclear?

Ask before you enrol rather than after. We answer within one working day.
